Personal data protection, data management rules
The Data Controller is Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center Nonprofit Ltd. (1065 Budapest, Nagymező utca 8.)
Subjects are all those who apply to the photo competition entitled “One Day on the Danube” and provide their personal details, thus taking part in the competition.
Personal data provided by the subjects: last name, first name, notification address, e-mail address.
The purpose of the data processing: identifying the entrants of the photo competition entitled “One Day on the Danube”; providing information relevant to the work of the jury and its evaluation of the submissions; identification of the authors who have submitted photographs as part of the competition; ensuring the safeguarding of the copyright.
Data Processor: EOX Fejlesztő és Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (1135 Budapest, Tahi utca 53.). Controller transfers the personal data provided by the Subject to the Data Processor. The Data Processor is responsible for the technical aspects to, and technical management of, the competition.
By signing the Declaration of Consent, the Subject expressly agrees to hand over his or her personal data to the Data Controller for the purpose of handling them in accordance with these data processing rules and to transfer them to the Data Processor.
The Data Controller declares that it shall process the personal data related to the subject in accordance with the rules of data processing and Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information
The target of the data transfer is obliged to process the transferred data in accordance with Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information; the target of the data transfer bears all responsibility for the processing of the data.
In accordance with the purpose of the data processing, the Subject shall provide the data voluntarily. The data processing and data transfer procedures herein outlined are based on the consent of the Subject.
The Data Controller shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that the data is not disclosed to any other entities; however, insofar as the law does not provide otherwise, the Data Controller and other entities are entitled to access the said data. The Data Controller and the entities may also access the data in the event that the Subject has given its express consent.
The data processing shall commence on the date of the signing of the Declaration of Consent and shall continue for as long as the purpose of the data processing so requires, that is, throughout the entirety of the competition and the award ceremony. Upon the termination of the purpose of the data processing, or if the Subject thus requests, the personal data shall be deleted.
The Subject is entitled to request information regarding the processing of his or her personal data and he or she is entitled to ask for the correction or deletion of his or her personal data.
Only individuals who fit the conditions set forth in the call for entries may take part in the competition. The entrant assumes full responsibility for the truthfulness and completeness of the data provided. The Data Controller does not assume responsibility for the consequences resulting from incorrectly or erroneously provided data.
